The International Projects Unit was created in February 2021. Since then, it has consolidated itself as the support unit for Competitive International Projects, both for pre and post award phases.
In the pre-award phase, our tasks include finding and disseminating new competitive funding opportunities, being liaison between the researchers and funding agencies and national contact points. And of course, the most important task is to provide high quality support to researchers in the preparation of new competitive grants in all the stages of the proposal from project design, consortia building, budget estimation and reviewing the proposal.
Furthermore, we also facilitate networking to find project proposals and partners, participate in international research forums, networks and decision bodies and organize training sessions for the scientific community.
In the post-award phase, our tasks include the management of portfolio of active competitive projects, support in formalization of grant agreements, performing the financial management of the projects, submission of financial reports and prepare audits when needed.
