About the Unit / Group

Our group carries out an intense research activity, participating in national and international projects, mainly applied clinical research, health service evaluation studies and non- commercial clinical trials. In addition, we carry out an intense training activity, mainly in evidence-based medicine, as well as other health sciences. The group also includes researchers responsible for the Ibero-American Cochrane Centre, encouraging the production of systematic reviews on the effects of health interventions by providing methodological and technical support to researchers.

This project is in line with primary research-surgical patient safety.

Essential requirements

Minimum Qualification Required: Bachelor's Degree; engineer; Architects; Graduates with a Bachelor's Degree ≥ 300 ECTS assigned to Level 3 (Master's Degree); Master's Degree Graduates (≥ 300 ECTS); Diplomas, Technical Engineers and Architects with a Master's Degree level 3.
Specific training in Clinical Trials (Master's degree in Clinical Trial Monitoring)
Training in Good Clinical Practice and Quality standards
Minimum 4 years of previous professional experience as a Study Coordinator (or similar position)
Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia or, failing that, the successful candidate will have to demonstrate, or promise to obtain, within a period not exceeding one year, a correct knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia.
Advanced knowledge of office tools (excel, word, power point, etc).
Availability to travel Skills will be valued
Advanced level of English

Functions

Support in the management of the FTAA clinical trial (protocol code IIBSP-FAS- 2020-120) (preparation of documentation for submission to the Ethics Committee [CEIm] and the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices [AEMPS], site initiation and closure)
Monitoring of the FTAA clinical trial
Support in data cleaning and management of the FTAA clinical trial

Offered

Indefinite contract linked to the project: “Evaluación de una estrategia terapéutica para acortar el tiempo de estancia hospitalaria en apendicitis complicada pediátrica: ensayo clínico aleatorizado, paralelo, multicéntrico, abierto. ICI23/00070.“ Resolución de la Dirección del Instituto de Salud Carlos III, O.A., M.P., por la que se conceden subvenciones para Proyectos de Investigación Clínica Independiente de la convocatoria 2023 de la Acción Estratégica en Salud 2021-2023.
Annual workday of 813,75 hours (18,75 hours/week)
