About the Unit / Group

The main research lines of the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition Research Group are:

Diabetic complications: atherosclerosis and microvascular disease
Diabetes epidemiology: primary care and research using large databases
Endocrine disorders and pregnancy
Nodular disease and thyroid cancer
Diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors

Essential requirements

Minimum qualification required: Doctorate Degree or speciality (MIR, QUIR, FIR, BIR)
More than 4 years of demonstrable experience in the specific area of work
Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia or, failing that, the successful candidate will have to demonstrate, or promise to obtain, within a period not exceeding one year, a correct knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia.
Advanced level of English
Advanced knowledge of office tools (excel, word, power point, etc). Skills will be valued
Interest or experience in the coordination of clinical studie
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Functions

Recruitment of potential study candidates. Clearly and correctly explaining the objectives, procedures, possible risks, and benefits of participation in clinical projects to potential participants.
