About the Unit / Group

Fundación Puigvert is the only monographic university hospital specialized in urology, nephrology, andrology, and reproductive medicine since 1961. It is part of the public healthcare network (SISCAT). We perform all medical and surgical procedures for urological, nephrological, andrological, and reproductive conditions, from minor to highly complex and specialized cases, with more than 5,500 surgeries per year. We promote and share our knowledge through continuing education and medical-scientific dissemination activities. In addition to having several in-house training programs, we are a UAB-affiliated center for MIR training and a reference center in Spain for specialist training in andrology. In the field of research, we are part of the Sant Pau Research Institute and collaborate with the pharmaceutical and biomedical equipment industries in basic, clinical, and translational research. Our goal is to translate research results into clinical practice to improve prognosis, survival, and quality of life.

Essential requirements

Minimum qualification required: Higher Education (Bachelor's Degree, University Degree) or equivalent
Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia or, failing that, the successful candidate will have to demonstrate, or promise to obtain, within a period not exceeding one year, a correct knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia.
Advanced level of English
Advanced knowledge of office tools (excel, word, power point, etc). Skills will be valued
Professional experience in hospitals with urology units.
Professional experience conducting urology clinical trials.
Knowledge of European registries.

Functions

Contact with participating centers.
Coordination with the study CRO.
Study data management (e.g., remote review of e-CRFs).
Statistical analysis of results.
Scientific manuscript writing.

Offered

Permanent contract linked to the RING project.
Annual working time of 1,627.50 hours (37.5 hours per week).
Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.
