Call for a T4A – Junior Senior Technician the Perinatal and Women’s Medicine group. Deadline: April 1, 2026, 15:00 h.

About the Unit / Group

Would you like to work on innovation projects that transform healthcare delivery? We are looking for a junior technical profile to join a team leading the clinical validation of digital technologies in a leading hospital environment such as Sant Pau Hospital.

The selected candidate will support the Study Coordinator within the research team and participate in projects involving clinicians, researchers, tech companies, and digital health ecosystem stakeholders. Activities will focus on Digital Health studies, including areas such as gynecology within the Perinatal and Women’s Medicine Group, as well as other medical areas involving technology use.

The candidate will contribute to the design, monitoring, and analysis of studies evaluating new digital health solutions, supporting the study monitoring team—an opportunity for professional growth in digital health, applied research, and healthcare innovation.

Essential requirements

  • Minimum required qualification: Higher Education degree (University Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent.
  • Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia or, failing this, the selected candidate must demonstrate or commit to acquiring an adequate level in both official languages within a period not exceeding one year.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Intermediate level of office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Skills will be valued
  • Background in health sciences, biomedical engineering, digital health, or related fields.
  • Previous experience (including internships or academic projects) in research or innovation project management in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of clinical research methodologies, data management and analysis, and data collection tools.
  • Teamwork, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Interest in digital health innovation and adaptability to multidisciplinary environments.

Functions

  • Participate in real clinical validation projects of digital health technologies in a hospital setting.
  • Support the Study Coordinator across all study phases, from design to execution.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and tech companies:
  • Clinical service interaction
  • Training healthcare staff
  • Resolving queries
  • Preparing/adapting materials
  • Support clinical study design and follow-up:
  • Clinical validation tracking
  • Ethics committee procedures
  • Participant recruitment
  • Study documentation management
  • Participant information
  • Study monitoring, fieldwork, and data collection (CRD).

  • Permanent contract linked to the project “Advancing Interactive and Technological Solutions for User Experience” PROJECT CPP2024-011332 funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033/FEDER, EU
  • Annual workload: 1,627.5 hours (37.5 hours/week)
  • Salary according to agreement
