About the Unit / Group
The main research lines of the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Group are:
- Cognitive impairment and behavioural alterations in Parkinson’s disease.
- Essential tremor and other movement disorders.
- Translational research – animal models in Parkinson’s disease.
- Translational research – cellular models.
- Huntington’s disease.
- Progressive supranuclear palsy.
Essential requirements
- Degree holders; Engineers; Architects; Graduates with Degree ≥300 ECTS assigned to Level 3 (Master’s); Graduates with a Master’s degree (≥300 ECTS); Diploma holders, Technical Engineers and Architects with a Level 3 Master’s degree.
- Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia or, failing that, the selected candidate must demonstrate or commit to acquiring, within a period not exceeding one year, an adequate command of both official languages in Catalonia.
- Advanced level of English.
- Advanced level of office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Skills will be valued
- Master’s degree in clinical research, clinical trial monitoring or related fields.
- Previous experience in similar roles.
Functions
- Overall management of the clinical trial at a multicentre level.
- Monitoring activities and support to participating trial centres.
- Acting as the communication link between the sponsor (Research Institute) and research staff, and advising on work procedures and data management systems.
- Ensuring proper execution of the trial at participating centres.
Offered
- Temporary contract linked to the project “ICI22/00082 Multicentre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of donepezil versus placebo in mild cognitive impairment associated with Parkinson’s disease”. Contract funded by the Carlos III Health Institute, file number ICI22/00082, and financed with European funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
- Annual working time of 813.75 hours (18.75 hours/week).
- Salary according to ISCIII salary scales.
- Research Group: Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders.
