Call for a Research Technician at the Neuropediatrics Unit, PReDICT project (pediatric stroke / ISCIII). Deadline: 10 June 2026, 3:00 p.m.
About the Unit / Group
Neuropediatrics Unit. We are dedicated to the study of neurological pathology within the pediatric field, especially in diseases of genetic and minority causes.
Essential requirements
- Minimum required qualification: Higher Education (University Diploma or University Degree) or equivalent.
- Oral and written knowledge of both official languages of Catalonia, or alternatively, the selected candidate must demonstrate or commit to achieving within a year a proper understanding of both official languages.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Intermediate knowledge of office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Skills will be valued
- Knowledge in neuropediatrics, pediatric stroke.
- Experience in assistance to pediatric patients.
- Knowledge in performing and basic reading of EEG.
- Knowledge in clinical data entry (RedCap).
Functions
- Performance and basic interpretation of EEGs.
- Neurological examination of pediatric patients.
- Data collection in RedCap database.
Offered
- Temporary contract linked to the project "PReDICT: Pediatric stroke associated with rare diseases: Diagnosis and treatment integrating Multi-omics and Artificial Intelligence", funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) – PMPER24/00021 and by Next Generation EU (Recovery and Resilience Mechanism – MRR).
- Annual working hours: 813 hours (18.75 hours/week).
- Salary according to collective agreement.
- Research group: Pediatrics.
