About the Unit / Group

The CIM conducts drug clinical trials and/or clinical research in accordance with methodological, ethical, and legal requirements under international Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Research as a business unit includes:

Phase I clinical trials (without therapeutic benefit for participants) in special populations and healthy volunteers (first-in-human, bioequivalence, biosimilars, human pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics).
Collaboration with HSCSP investigators on Phase II and Phase III clinical trials.

Essential requirements

Minimum required qualification: higher education degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in Health Sciences plus medical specialty (MIR) or a minimum of 4 years accredited experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience in clinical research with accredited training. Oral and written proficiency in the two official languages of Catalonia or commitment to acquire them within one year
Advanced English.
Advanced office software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Skills will be valued
Professional experience in tertiary-level hospitals.
Experience in Phase I and Phase II trials.
Knowledge of pharmacokinetics.
Higher education (PhD).

Functions

Execute clinical trial protocols experimentally.
Manage trials and involved personnel.
Liaise with national and international sponsors.
Draft protocols and final reports.
Design case report forms.
Perform statistical analysis of results.

Offered

Permanent contract.
Annual working time of 1,627.50 hours (37.5 hours/week).
Salary according to collective agreement.
