About the Unit / Group
The Neuromuscular Diseases Unit is a multidisciplinary unit with extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of neuromuscular diseases. Clinical and research activities are fully integrated, addressing clinical challenges in the laboratory to identify new biomarkers and diagnostic tools, novel disease mechanisms, and new therapeutic targets. The Unit includes neurologists, biologists, and laboratory technicians with expertise in basic and translational research, as well as in the organization and management of sample collections.
Essential requirements
- Minimum qualification: higher education degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent).
- Specialized training (Master’s degree) enabling assessment, diagnosis, and guidance for establishing treatment adapted to a Clinical Trial.
- Oral and written proficiency in the two official languages of Catalonia, or commitment to acquire it within one year.
- Advanced level of English.
- Advanced office software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Skills will be valued
- Experience in neuromuscular diseases.
- Certification in scales for autoimmune neuropathies.
- Experience in the analysis of comprehensive clinical databases.
Functions
- Clinical coordination of the Paladin project.
- Data collection and review of inclusion criteria.
Offered
- Permanent contract linked to the autoimmune neurology research line.
- Annual working time of 1,627.50 hours (37.5 hours/week)
- Salary according to collective agreement.
- Research Group: Neuromuscular Diseases.
