About the Unit / Group
The XWHIN Network (Women’s Health Innovation Network) is opening a call to recruit a Project Manager linked to initiatives in innovation and knowledge transfer in women’s health, promoting collaboration between research, the healthcare system, the productive sector, and social stakeholders.

Essential requirements
- Minimum required qualification: Higher Education degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) related to the area of the position.
- Proven experience of at least 4 years in a Junior Project Management Technician position or equivalent.
- Oral and written knowledge of the two official languages of Catalonia. Catalan level C or, failing this, the selected candidate must demonstrate or commit to acquiring an adequate knowledge of both official languages within a maximum period of one year.
- Advanced oral and written English skills (negotiation level).
- Advanced knowledge of office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Skills will be valued
- Proven experience in the management and/or coordination of R&D&I projects or public-private collaboration initiatives, preferably collaborative projects funded through competitive calls or developed within innovation ecosystems.
- Previous participation in research networks or multi-institutional consortia.
- Experience in the preparation and monitoring of technical reports, justification reports, and project deliverables.
- Participation in innovation and entrepreneurship programmes.
- Knowledge of innovation methodologies (design thinking, lean startup, etc.).
- Previous experience in integrating the gender perspective into research and innovation activities.
- PhD in Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Social Sciences applied to health, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or related fields.
- Competence in managing project timelines, milestones, indicators, and risks.
- Organised and methodical working habits.
- Ability to foster key internal and external collaborations.
- Ability to work independently and within interdisciplinary and multicentre teams.
- Strong communication skills.
Functions
- Provide support for the operational coordination and overall functioning of the R&D&I network.
- Collaborate with management and governing bodies in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the action plan.
- Carry out the technical and administrative follow-up of research, innovation, and knowledge transfer projects linked to the network.
- Facilitate coordination and communication among the different research groups and participating entities.
- Support the identification of opportunities for transfer, innovation, and social impact arising from project results.
- Collaborate in identifying competitive funding opportunities at national and international levels.
- Support the preparation, justification, and monitoring of funded projects.
- Support the definition and monitoring of progress, outcome, and impact indicators.
- Ensure the systematisation, documentation, and compliance with programme or call procedures and requirements.
- Carry out any other functions identified as necessary for the proper functioning of the network.
Offered
- Permanent contract linked to the Women’s Health Innovation Network (XWHIN), file number 2025 XARDI 00009, supported by the Department of Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia.
- Annual working time of 1,627.50 hours (37.5 hours/week).
- Salary according to collective agreement.
- Affiliation with the Responsible Research and Innovation Unit (RRI).
