The constant evolution of the healthcare sector clearly demonstrates that the integration of digital technologies into the medical field is essential for improving both the efficiency and quality of healthcare services. Digital technologies—including the use of mobile devices, applications, and telemedicine—have radically transformed the way healthcare professionals interact with patients and manage their clinical practice.
The Digital Health research group works to establish a solid scientific foundation for the implementation of these technologies and to create a collaborative innovation ecosystem. In doing so, the group aims to maximize the impact of innovations on daily clinical practice and contribute significantly to the digital transformation of the healthcare system.
Main Lines of Research
- Validation of digital technologies in the healthcare field.
- Redesign of healthcare processes and care pathways from a digital perspective.
- Analysis of digital tools implemented in clinical practice (“Real World Evidence”).
- Value-based digital health.
- Intersectionality in digital health.
- Ideation, design, and/or creation of technologies using qualitative methods.
