The Neurobiology of Dementia Research Group, led by Dr. Alberto Lleó, is a team of neurologists, biologists and psychologists that work together to advance knowledge and care of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer disease.The aim of this cause is to support the main research lines of the group:

Genomics of complex disease

The Genomics of complex disease reseach group, led by Dr. José Manuel Soria, works to identify genetic factors that cause the major venous disorders, particularly thrombosis and varicose veins (chronic venous insufficiency). The multidisciplinary team consists of biologists, biochemists, bioinformaticians, haematologists, oncologists and vascular specialists, who together focus on comprehensive diagnosis, prevention and treatment of these diseases.

Information on data collection for information and fiscal purposes

Donations made to the organization can avail of the benefits provided for in Law 49/2002 (on the tax regime governing non-profit entities and tax incentives to patronage) and Law 27/2014 (governing corporation tax).  Donations can benefit from deductions in regard to income tax (individuals) and corporation tax (businesses).  Certificates certifying the donation will be issued for tax purposes.

In accordance with Law 15/1999 on the protection of personal data, your data will be included in a database owned by the HSCSP-IR in order to create and issue the tax certificate regarding your donation to the indicated address and so that the organization can identify donors and send information on donations and activities. You declare under your own responsibility that the information is true, correct, up-to-date and your own. According to Law 15/1999 on the protection of personal data, you may at any time exercise your right to access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of data by addressing an email to donatiusiib@santpau.cat.
